Ed sheeran is in a different musical genre to my original summer homework artist Tupac Shakur, even though he is in the indie/acoustic genre which is normally very different to rap/hiphop, the conventions of both artists style in their music videos and image are surprisingly quite similar.
Examples:

These examples show that to re create one of his videos should not be too difficult as he is not a materialistic artist and prefers to not to be glamorous in his music videos, he wears casual clothing, has an 'ungroomed' look, his locations are either in a studio/stage or in working class areas.
Other artists in the acoustic genre are Jason Mraz, Paul weller, James morrison etc, however i believe that Ed sheeran has a slightly different style to these artists which shows through his image and music videos.

The link above shows Jason Mraz video - I'm yours, which is a very bright happy music video, located in better areas. If you compare this video to Ed sheerans -A team video you will see a big difference in styles, the a team video is all filmed in black and white and has a very serious narrative.
I would say that Ed sheeran's videos have changed in style over time for example the you need me i dont need you video is a lot more studio like than his previous videos, however it is still very simplistic and it is all shot in black and white.
